Welcome to Rosie’s Wardrobe – where market roots meet modern fashion.

My journey began over 13 years ago at North Weald Market, with nothing more than a 10-foot stall and a few rails of clothes hanging around the edges. From there, I worked my way through some of the busiest markets in the UK, including Pitsea Market on Wednesdays – where I quickly stood out as one of the only women selling affordable, stylish fashion.

Over time, I moved on to Swanley Market, investing £5,000 in my pitch – and to my surprise, I made it back within just two weeks! I then built my stock and reputation further at Dagenham Market, trading Wednesdays and Sundays for years. But as shopping habits started shifting online, I noticed markets beginning to slow down.

That’s when I decided to bring my market spirit to the internet. I began doing live selling from my stall, connecting with my loyal customers in a whole new way. Earlier this year, I made the decision to step back from the midweek markets and focus fully on my Saturday market, where I still have my amazing regulars, and build my online shop alongside my daughter.

Now, we run Rosie’s Wardrobe together as a mother-daughter team – combining years of market experience with the excitement of online fashion. It’s been the best decision I’ve made. At 61, I know the long days standing in the cold, unreliable helpers, and heavy setups aren’t easy – but this new chapter has given me a fresh start and the chance to do what I love with ease.
